Yes, the answer is always YES! You are a priority so making time for yourself should always be a priority. Therapy is an hour once a week or once a month that you give yourself the space and time to heal, be heard or express emotions and thoughts that you have been holding onto. Verbally expressing thoughts or feelings to an objective party offers insight into yourself and allows for a change of perspective.
Therapy is NOT only for people who are struggling with disorders or who have been through a traumatic experience. It is not only for the couple who have separated or the child who is abused.
Therapy is an opportunity to get to know yourself and grow as a person. It is an opportunity to identify your triggers and understand them.
